Many people have likened the use of CBD to caffeine. Caffeine has become the most commonly used psychoactive substance in the world, and over the years, there have been a lot of studies into its effects. Even today though, the evidence of whether or not pregnant women should indulge in a mug of coffee in the morning is extremely contradictory, with some claiming that it doesn’t have an effect on an unborn child, others claim that caffeine can increase the likelihood of a miscarriage.
